Mapping the Way

Day 3:  The preschoolers related well to the maps that were provided for them.  They were able to label roads, water ways and mountains.  They were able to make a map that meant something to them.  The children that participated made wonderful maps that led to their families.  Cousins and grandparents were included.  A child even directed his map to Salmon Arm. Some of the children used rulers and others just let their lines do a "loopdy loop".....

Relationships are very important to children, therefore providing meaningful play opportunities that build upon your relationship and understanding who "your" children are, is very important for their self image and sense of belonging.

It is a shorter blog, but I hope you allow the content to "reach" you :)
